C.J. Aiken

Chun Yu Basketball Club (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 34-year old American power forward C.J. Aiken (206cm-91kg-1990, college: St.Joseph's, agency: BIG). He played most recently at Big 5 (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In only one TBT game he recorded just 2 points and 3 rebounds in 2023 year. The last seasonhe played for different teams. He ended the season at Al Gharafa Doha (QBL) in Qatari league.
In 2013 he was drafted by Texas Legends (D-League) as #5 pick overall.
Aiken graduated from Saint Joseph's University. It will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
Aiken is quite experienced player. Thanks to Aiken's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America) in eleven different countries. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Braves), Hungary (Kaposvari and PVSK-Veolia), Lebanon (Byblos), Philippines (Terrafirma Dyip), Poland (Czarni and Wilki Morskie), Qatar, Taiwan (Pauian), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks), Czech Republic (Svitavy), ABA (Philadelphia S.) and Canada (River Lions).
Among many awards his team was regular season runner-up in Czech Republic League in 2019. Aiken was voted to Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Honorable Mention in 2022.
